At BookIllustrationAI ("we," "our," or "us"), we strive to provide high-quality AI-powered illustration services. This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds for subscriptions and digital services.

By purchasing a subscription or using our paid services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy. This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

General Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our services, we generally do not provide refunds for:

  • Partially used subscription periods
  • Credits that have been used to generate content
  • Services that have been fully delivered
  • Change of mind after purchase

However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may provide refunds at our sole discretion in situations such as technical failures, service unavailability, or billing errors.

Subscription Refunds

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided that:

  • You have not used more than 6 credits
  • You have not violated our Terms of Service
  • This is your first refund request for this account

Renewal Subscriptions

Refunds are not available for subscription renewals. This includes situations where you forgot to cancel your subscription before it renewed. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

To avoid being charged for renewal, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. When you cancel, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, but you will not be charged for the next billing cycle.

Prorated Refunds

We do not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of subscription periods. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, but you will not receive a refund for the remaining time.

European Union Right of Withdrawal

If you are located in the European Union, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from your subscription purchase under EU consumer protection laws.

However, once you begin using our service (by using credits to generate content), you lose your right of withdrawal because you have received immediate access to the digital content. This is standard practice for digital services that provide immediate access.

If you have not used the service at all and wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Once you have used any credits, your right of withdrawal is waived.

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Credits that have been used to generate content
  • Subscription periods that have been fully utilized
  • Services that have been completed and delivered
  • Refunds requested more than 14 days after purchase (except as required by law)
  • Accounts that have been terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
  • Refunds for accounts that have already received a refund previously
